front oxigen sensor

I need to replace the oxigen sensor. Is it a easy job/ how to?

I dont think its too hard to get to but theres 2 of them so the rear one is a bitch

it is the front one but Will I need the vag after replace it or will it reset by itself?

Its a very easy job. Pop the hood. Look on the left hand side of the engine when looking from the front of the vehicle. There is an exhaust manifold and a turbo. Look more toward the rear of the vehicle and you will see the oxygen sensor coming out of the catalytic conveter. It will have 4 wires. All you need is an oygen sensor socket and a long ratchet and youll make short work of it.
The rear o2 is a little harder to get to but its not bad. Its just a little further down the exhaust than the front one.

Nope, however if you dodn;t have the o2 sensor socket you can use a wrench but you have to remove the airbox which is easy. The rear 02 sensor is cake with a wrench dont even have to remove the airbox.

alot cheaper if you DIY than getting charged!

Deff make sure you get an 02 sensor wrench. It makes it much easier. You can order one off ebay for cheap.

Autozone also loans out O2 sensor sockets.
