Default Front sits higher after new control arm kit

I just put a new control arm kit on my 97 A4 2.8l 12v. All uper and lower control arms, tie rod ends and sway bar end links were changed. I measured the wheel ell and driver's side is 27.5" and passenger is 27.75". the rear wheel wells are both 27". Its not really noticeable looking at it but is this an acceptable difference?

that doesn't sound right did you do 1 side at a time and did you replace the shocks too

Both sides were done during the same session. I'm pretty sure they did one side entirely and then the other. I went back to mechanic yesterday and he said they tightened it all up while it was still in air. So he loosened the inner control arm bolts, sat the car down, andbounced the suspension up and down for a while. Now both sidesmeasure 27.5".
