After Total Front End Rebuild It's 1" Higher FTF
I have a 2004 A6 2.7T Q w/ the sport option. The driverside strut was blown so I decided to replace both struts (Bilstein Sports), all the control arms, tre, and sway bar links (all Meyle).
Before the new struts, from the ground to the mid fender lip it was 26". Couldn't find anywhere that actual denotes the true height. Anyway now from the ground to the mid fender lip it's 27"
NOT WHAT I WANTED.argggg
The Bilsteins do have about 4 different spring perch setting, but coming from the factory as a direct replacement they were already set. What the heck am I supposed to do now? If anything I was hoping the height would go down a little.
