Frustration from the A4
About 3 weeks ago I bought my A4, a 2003 1.8T Quattro from the local VW dealership(who assured me they could work on Audi's, i figured since the whole VAG thing)with 25,000 miles on it now, i picked it up with only 22,000miles. well in the first 7 days i had to bring it back for condensation in the headlamp, then again the ignition coil in cylinder 1 was bad, they fixed it, told me they reset the codes, the car was fine, but now the engine light comes on again, today i called them and they are all sketchy now about an audi, saying that their software will only tell them what is wrong they wont be able to reset the codes and have the light go off, they didnt seem to have a problem with that before, so what the hell?
im so frustrated already. everything is running fine, and its been 2,000 since the last time i had to bring it in but it shouldnt be like that.
everytime i go out somewhere im afraid im gong to be towing home a very expensive piece of smoldering audi turd. i drove VW's before and i never had issues with them so i figured id be safe

RE: Frustration from the A4
ye, i had issues with mine right after i got it (been at the shop almost a month...long story) but because it was a CPO (warranty ) car, the dealer had a loaner for me...take it to an AUDI dealer.

RE: Frustration from the A4
Flashing light is bad, it means major problem, dont drive it.
Solid light means there is a code thrown, get the codes read.
Clearing the codes removes the light, so they should be able to do that no problem.
