not unless you are running a chip/turbo to support the injectors.

Injectors don't add HP. They only help deliver fuel. You don't need new injectors with just a chip.

I wouldn't worry about the injectors until you have both the chip and the turbo done. Your stock injectors can handle the remapped a/f mixtures incorporated into your chip and unless you are forcing a whole lot more air into the engine (ie the turbo) you won't really get much of a bang for those bucks. No pun intended.

Huge loss in performance if u get injectors with just a chip, plus you'll ruin your cat, o2 sensors, and washdown the cyl walls thinning out the oil like my motor does

It's my understanding (now I'm just a noob so maybe I'm way off here) that when you are ordering a chip from APR you can get either a "Stage 1" or a "Stage 1+". The "Stage 1+" is designed to run with larger injectors, and is therefore tuned slightly different, which results in a power gain. At least that's the way it reads on the site. Here's a link to the site im talking about...

http://www.goapr.com/Audi/products/e...e_8ea418t.html

If anyone wants to read this and give an opinion on what it seems to say on the site it would be appreciated because I have actually be wondering about injector question myself.

Thanks in advance!

Yup you are correct, you only need injectors if your programming is set-up for them
