Default Fuel Presure Reg.

Should I get a 5 bar fuel presure regulator with having GIAC? Would it fit and what would happen good or bad? Thanks. What bar regulator is on it now?

You should be running the oem FPR 4 bar, do the 5 bar if you have a k04 and giac software.

So it has no affect with the k03 and giac? Would it make me run rich or something? Sometimes it feels like it runs lean but i dont get codes or anything.

Yes it would make you run rich.
The 5 bar is only for k04 giac cars and any other software that may use it. Why you think its runnig lean?

Kind of hard to explain without experiencing it, but sometimes the engine sounds like its using and also performs like its operating on more air than fuel. I can hear the engine sucking in the air like crazy yet the torque and normal power that the chip makes isnt all there. I know its not limp mode, ive been there and know what its like.. This happens maybe 5 times a month for maybe one stretch of road at a time. Very rare but noticeable. Just sounds thirsty sometimes i guess? I notice it when im driving aggesively.

Run some fuel injector cleaner before you do anything.

Do you have a boost gauge if so, whats it like, vaccum, boost spike, and what boost do you hold. Most people ie: NOOB's would think im crazy but it should be almost mandatory to pressure check the system to maybe find any leaks in the system. Stock your runnig 7-9psi and you jump it up to 16-17 there is bound to be leaks. When i first chipped my car i found 3 leaks. Not saying that that is your problem, internet diagnosing isn't the easiest thing without seeing the car. Do you have an aftermarket intake, that will make a sucking sound, also when its colder out i have notced on my setup the intake gets pretty loud.
