Fuel pump/filter help!
I own a 2003 Audi a4 1.8t. I was hearing a noise coming from the rear passenger side of the car, so I looked up what it was and found out it was most likely the fuel filter. I changed it and the sound went away then the sound came back so I replaced the fuel pump.
This where i need help the noise is still there and now the engine needs to be cranked several times before it starts up. Ex. I have to turn it over five times stop then turn it to off position then try again and it fires up.
I replaced the fuel pump and filter myself. It was a really easy procedure. But im wondering if i was suppose to do some that I didn't do when replacing each component.i
I should note before I replaced the fuel filter the rpm needle would drop or jump around.
Is this fuel injection issues? Any help is appreciated thanks
