is it truly bad for your audi to use non-audi coolant, or any fluid for that matter?

can sombody enlighten me as to what non-audi fluids are suitable for our cars and which ones are not?

just buy the OE stuff, its worth your while

You can flush and change to universal yellow antfreeze.

 

the new, long-life yellow antifreeze is ok to use, but DO NOT mix the two together, and also DO NOT mix your power steering fluid with anything other than pentosin 11S, or you will have some pretty pricey repairs on your hands

 

You can buy power steering fluid at a VW dealer.

 

Just buy the oem pink G12 fluid. You only change the coolant ever few years. Spend the money, it's worth it.

 

The only problem I have with using G12, is finding it on the road. Universal Yellow can be found at any gas station.
