lol thanx

and if anyone decides to use this idea in the future, make it as big as possible, even with my window open and a wall fan installed in reverse, i got really high of the paint fumes after only 3 coats. definitely not as fun as weed lol

and i made the most ingenious door ever, at least i thought so, i went to goodwill and bought a XXL jacket for $1. I cut the zipper out and left some fabric on the end and taped the 2 plastic sheets to the zipper. and then sealed the 2 plastic sheets above and below the zipper. voila. instant door[8D] kinda small but not bad at all.

well, time to go finish everything up

hahah i got my makeshift booth in the basement right now haha. i just got the first coat done. i have mine surrounding a door for easy access and ventilation. its working pretty nice but i hate having the fender hang from the ceiling by string, which puts it on such an akward angle. anyway imma have the fender on the car later this afternoon, and the c.f. hood is commin tommrow between 11 and 4. woohoo for progress. o and the grill came in about an hour ago, but im not 100% sure if im gunna keep it. its the chrome badgless grill (4 chrome bars). its...ehhhh.

LMAO you could always tie another string to the bottom to alter the angle it's at

yeah thats what i ended up doing. i put three coats of primer on the fender and let it dry for a little more then an hour and its on the car now. not tryin to brag but it came out pretty damn nice. and the flat black with the clear turn signal is hott. im probably gunna paint the other fender just to make it match for a while, and im gunna do the airbox mod b4 i put the liner back in the fender.

the guy at the shop who can use the mig welder was sick today[&o] so now i gotta go back tomorrow morning before class at 8AM...great. the fmic is all mounted up. the hoses for the smic were so nasty, greasy, and would not come out for anything. i ended up just having to cut it off. the mounting for the fmic fit PERFECTLY, thank you greddy. so now i just gotta get the hot side and put my wheels back on and she'll be all set...until my mounts arrive from 034 and i get to remove the bumper all over again lol. i just wish i had my digital camera, coulda done so many DIY articles...oh well

well the order status on 034 says that it was shipped on the 11th. it's being shipped ground from california, taking it's sweet *** time. and im going to a meet tomorrow night but i have class from 9-5, so if they arrive tomorrow i can get the snub in before the meet. the other mounts i can do anytime. if not, i'll just have to put it back on and then remove it, its only 4 bolts and 2 clips. i cant ride around with no bumper, tho it would look funny with the fmic
