Installed Kamei grills on my buddys 05 S4 today. That was a blast. We ended up putting the badge in the bottom right of the lower grill and it looked great. We took the S4 badge off the stock grill, "modded" it a little and we were able to squeeze it onto the bottom right of the top grill. Front end looks mean especially with the huge radiator. We drove down to Advanced Autoparts to get xenon fogs but they didnt have them. Any one know who sells the H11 Xenon? Also we bought red interior lights for some basic floor lighting. Can anyone help me with some info on wiring it up? We bought a switch also. I was pretty much just wondering what we should wire them to. Can we run the switch right to the fuse? Also does anyone have a fuse layout for the new S4? Man I really need to buy this kid a repair manual. If anyone can help with any of these random questions thatd be awesome thanks...

 

I'd wire the red interior lights into the bottom of a dumpster... but I'm sure somebody here knows another way to do it -- if not, check a honda forum :P hahaha

Funny how you can say that considering my friend could have bought almost 6 of your cars for the price of his. If you wanna talk about dumpsters we can talk about how ud look in the bottom of one. I dont need your crap, I need someone who knows what they are talking about to help me. You obviously dont know the first thing about electronics or this car so that being the case you can chill on the posts. Last time I checked wiring red interior lights under the dash isnt the same as multi-colored strobes under a neon. Thanks for all your help glad I ever even posted.

If you want actual advice, I'm sure you could find an empty fuse... rear wiper or something to that effect, since it's not an avant... and wire into that. use lots of cable ties, keep all the wire tight and secure. Mount the switch somewhere discreet, but not in the way... I bet you could run under the center console, and bring it up into the center console compartment, or something to that effect.

Dude, don't take anything personally here man, were just a bunch of kidders man........and next time reserve the comment of being able to buy 6 of our cars, cuz first, your not the owner of the S4, and second, you really don't know our finacials...maybe some of us could maintain you, your friend and both your families.

Be patient somebody will help you on this. Do a search on the DIY page maybe somebody posted something.

 

Yeppers yeppers, the 6 cars thing threw me for a loop... but I forgot to post about it. I could be in a b5 s4 right now... which I'd personaly take over a b6 S4. I chose the a4 solely for reliability and gas. I have stock, where the dividends are paying off my car... it'll be paid in just under 4 years. i could have made it a full 5 years, and bought an s4, wouldnt make any difference to me, because out of pocket, i'm out nothing. But, as a student... i'd be worried about replacing two K-03s... and it'd probably kill me to put K-03's back in, when I'd obviously wanna go K-04.

but yeah, that kind of bragging is... umm... frowned upon. Makes you look like a bit of an ***. We'll let it slide this time... just cause pops thinks your cute when your all mad!

If I wanted jokes and humor I'd goto a forum about jokes and humor. Im here to learn about my car and its brothers and sisters. When youd spend a couple hours working on a car, running around town looking for tedious things for it, and all thats holding you back from install is some good advice, the last thing i wanna sit here and read is people cut up on my friend for buying cheap interior lights. And as for the money aspect, the vast majority of this site could buy me out left and right, I'm not the one that brought up the money issue, that was Mr. "dumpster" and "honda" jokester. Im not trying to get into and argument im Tired and frustrated and it wasn't the post i was looking for but i guess thats the risk you take when posting. As for my friend...i wouldnt count on anyone in this forum having the cash his old man has. If you guys were intrested in seeing some sick cars i could get some pics of some of their rides. Itll blow most of you away. some sweet cars for real. sorry to everyone. peace
