weird thing happened today. i parked my car, left all windows down, locked with my remote out of habit, and then went to breakfast. when i came back out i got in and tried to start it and i couldnt even turn the key. i tried putting the key in different ways a and tried different pressures. nothing would work. about 10 minutes later i tried again and it turned fine, started right up. diagnosis? B6

 

I sort of know the feeling man, except I could not get the key out of the ignition once or twice and just left it in there with the door open. It was a 2001 A4 advant.

 

Have you tried turning the steering wheel as you turn the key?
