Default FWD differiential (sp)

ok so I got a 98 FWD...The other day I broke my drive axle and finally got around fixing it a few days ago...I know that it has an open differiential so when it broke I was stuck . Is there a way that I could install a limited slip differiential so next time I could still drive if I had to?

Any ideas would be nice thanks guys.

hya good question...no not yet, but by the end of the summer it will be....ok

so bout a week or so ago im driving down the road doin like 35 mph when out of no where some dog decides to run in front of me. Instead of hitting the dog I tried to avoid it by slammin on the brakes and turning the wheel. Then when I went to go do a U-turn it gave way..

When I unistalled it I saw exactly where it broke. The piece that holds all of the ball bearing was completly broken into small pieces inside the CV joint.

I think it might have been due to the fact that it was too much stress on the drive axle since I only have FWD. but who knows
