i have a 2000 jetta tdi when i accelarate i hear a loud suction noise ( must check intercooler for leaks) i guess

also abound 3 rpm i get a short power surge loss of power

check for leaks and also make sure your air filter is clean, if its really dirty the turbo will become really loud and you can hear it trying and trying and sucking with some power loss
