Ive noticed this twice now. When the gas gets down to about 1/4 tank (90 miles left) the fuel needle well indicate 1/4 then twitch to empty and the gas light and chime will come on. I know its reading off because of the eractic twitching from empty to quarter. I added fuel yesterday and it fixed the light and all... obviously. But I think when I get back to a 1/4 tank it's gonna go beserk and start twitching again. Do you think this has something to do with tank vent? I read of related problems where the vent was responsible for cars not starting properly after full tanks.
