C'mon man, don't cheap out that much.. Those several dollars saved can equate to bigger damage further down the road. If I at 16 can fill up with BP 93oct, you should be too.. I pay closer to $3.50 too [:@]

Whoa! So glad I moved out of Cali and back to Florida b4 I bought my A4-For 1 thing the gas is so highly priced out there and 2 I noticed that all the gas stations only sold 91 octane, here I get 93-- The car syas minimum 91 so I wouldnt put anything less than what the car wants for breakfast.....With 93 I get unbelievable gas milage and would not want to sacrifice that nor performance to save a couple pennies, dont do it!!!! Use good fuel!!!!

wow Grafixs you live in Annapolis!!! finally someone in my town! Where do you live?
Actually I always say annapolis because most people won't know the town I actually live in, it's Odenton, which is right off route 3. Bout 10 min from annapolis, I goto Arundel Sr. High if that helps with the location at all.

I was freaking out today because gas here massachusetts just reached around $3.07 for premium at certain places. I guess we don't have it that bad. I have my 1997 2.8 and with high prices it will cost me about 45 maybe every 2 weeks depending on how far and how hard I drove my car. But as for the whole putting premium in my car I put nothing except 93 octane in it, other than me and my dad's shelby we have never put premium in our cars. But for now its all we put in.

I have a 96 audi A4 quattro and was wondering what would happen if I started using 87 octane fuel in it. I have been putting 93 octane fuel since I bought it. Gas here in SC has now hit 3.07$ for premium and I was just wondering If 87 Would hurt the car at all? What is the lowest Octane rating I could get away with putting in my audi Without causing It any damage?
you will be saving about $12 a month if you fill up about once a week, not worth it

I wish I was paying $3.07/gal for premium. Here in NorCal, I'm paying about $3.50 - 3.60 / gal.

I just filled up at Costco in SoCal for $3.17 / gallon for 91 octane! There is no higher octane available here, unless you go to a couple of specialty stations that sell 95 octane fuel for $5.00 / gallon, with a 10 gallon minimum. Ouch! Very fun, though.
