Default getting beat by honda's lol

this thread has no point first of all just bored at work.
driving around with my friends, one has a 01 civic si intake, header, exhaust, pretty fast 4 a honda, and my other friend a honda prelude sh same mods. well i know i can beat them, i do it all the time, but i have this boost leak near my intake manifold the little l shaped tube, but anyways i have it taped up and i have giac-x chip on my 01 a4, apparently it should be running like 17-18 psi but i run about 16 most of the time but when my car get's really hot the tape heats up and lets more and more air out so slowly but surely these honda's satart beating me. after that night i was done never wanted to lose to another hondaof course swapped or boosted but stock engine. anyways looks like i need to take a trip to the dealer 4 a new tube

Same here or I just picked up a bunch of food at the drive-thru, or just started pumping gas or something else that would prohibit me from racing after them. It seems anytime I actually pull next to a ricer even the ghetto wannabe racer ones they are tame as house kittens. WTF. Very seldom do I get to race and usually its when I don't even know Im racing till I hear them chirp their tires off the line. Cheap Racing. (Hey lets race, but I wont tell you we are racing, I wont rev, I wont give you "the look" I'm just gonna go and hope my art or surprise has caught you off guard enough that by the time you realize and try to catch up I have already flashed my hazards and then bounced.) Kids are gay. I have had a couple chumps try that not realising I was a turbo. Turbo spools, they look like fools! But still its pretty weak to try that crap. I am however experiencing the same problem with that l hose so right now I am avoiding races at all costs. Man I feel useless ducking out like that. But I am gonna fix that damn thing today, then go out and spanking anything that that resembles rice!

I wouldn't dicredit all hondas by calling them rice....

Jp A4 has a VERY nice civic hatch that ran a 13.2 at an adjusted elev. of 5000 ft. My Integra was decent, never ran it at the track, but there is no doubt in my mind it was faster than my A4, it wouldn't be able to keep up in the twisties, but I am definately a Honda/Acura guy at heart.

I personally classify "rice" as huge sheetmetal wings, incorrectly fitting body kits, "altezza" taillights.. the guys who have an intake and "headers" (its an inline 4 you ********, its a H-E-A-D-E-R not plural), you know, the guys who couldn't swap their distributors or convert from Direct Port to MPFI, or convert OBD systems in order to run a newer engine. The guys who say NOS, yeah, that classifies them as ricers.

I agree 100% even though I myslef have Euros. There are lots of nice japanese cars out there look at the evo and the supra. And to this day the 95-99 eclipse is still one of my favorite cars.
