Hey guys, about to buy a Giac chip for my 1.8T. I've heard that they've blown allot of turbos. Is this true? If some1 has one, is there a big difference? Thanks

Also never heard of the GIAC chip destroying a turbo. I own the GIAC chip and havent had a prob with it.

I had a GIAC in my old car for about a year and had no problems whatsoever.
Never heard of a GIAC causing turbo death.
