Default GIAC confusion

So I am heavily considering the GIAC chip for my car.

I ran into a problem though.

My ECU is 8 D0 907 557 P

GIAC lists the 96-99 range for the 8 D0 906 557 P

Any thoughts?

Don't worry about it. You can get a GIAC ECU flash for any Audi 1.8T.

Are you planning on taking it to a shop or sending your ECU in? If you take it to a shop they will handle that issue of matching it up. You defiently have a GIAC chip available to you, the 99 and 99.5 are very popular for chipping.
