Just figured turbo's dont like restriction and open exhaust is to loud for every day driving.

you need some back pressure on a turbo engine to help it run properly... for the stock turbo anyways... thus why too big diameter or completely non-restrictive exhaust will end up in you losing power

ya im happy with it. but id be much happier with a performance exhaust, which will happen some day.... hopefuly soon.

This is the first turbo car I've had so I really dont know much about them other than they are fun to drive. I just heard from a person that less restriction is good so the turbo could breath. The cut-out was just an idea, personaly I would be happy with custom piping, gutted cat and a borla muffler.
