very stiff transmission (1st 2nd and rev)

Default very stiff transmission (1st 2nd and rev)

hi, hope someone can help me,

got an a4 tdi 2001 about 66k on the clock, got in the car this morning and i carnt get / it is very very hard to put it in to 1st 2nd and reverse all other gears are ok. eventually got them to go in with a bit of force, drove the car in every gear and it it ok ish but when i come to a stop carnt get the gears again. any ideas any one???? yhe clutch seems to be ok as i did have to pull away in 3rd once because force wouldnt work

audis seem to be known for a tough 1st and 2nd....i havent heard about reverse though
my 2nd gear is fine, but 1st is also a little bit of a bitch...
i would tend to say your car is just fine, since so many others complained about $hitty 1st and 2nd gears before....

Try pushing down on the stick as you put it in to gear.

it was ok before today , i had to more or less jump the gear stick to get it in gear this is not normal i have drove many audi's and never had this problem, i dont now any other way to explain it.
