GIAC is much better IMO, its way more agressive and even though they dont claim as much power as AARP ( APR) you sure feel it alot more, i rode in a friends APR chiped A4 it sucked compared to my GIAC chipped A4
That's hardly conclusive. You were adding extra weight, your friend might not have been matting it, the car might have a boost leak, etc etc.

And he also probably didnt have the N75 race valve, FMIC, exhaust, etc that you have on your car, so that would make a difference.

he isnt just basing it off of his experience.. if you would search you would find that exact statement atleast a thousand times..

its a known fact that APR's chip isnt as agressive as GIAC .. it's not one mans opinion..

search the forums.. you will find the answers...

That is true, GIAC has been said to be the one that throws you bakc in your seat, while APR has a smoother, broader powerband. But it cant be said that one is better than the other, its personal preference.

+1..

I wasnt impressed with the APR chipped B5 I had in a ride in either.. Id rather have most of the power down low like giac provides because most of my driving is in the city where i can use it more.

revo is only good for b6's, and no the two cars were IDENTICAL other than mines GIAC and his is APR this was before the N75 before everything i did... and he rode with me when we ran mine, plus I had extra weight of subs if that means anything.... APR sucked compared to GIAC thats all i gotta say, sure they claim more power but who cares if you cant even feel it
