Default Glove Box Broke at Hinge

The right hinge to be exact. I wanted to know if this was covered under the CPO warranty. I called audi but the guy was 75% sure it wasn't. But it was still unsure. And I've seen a couple of posts here saying that it is covered under warranty...but they dont specify if it the orginal or CPO warranty.

Now I hear that it is around 400 to fix. I'm just trying to way out my options because I can't take my car in until next week, when I get my oil changed.

Yeah B6 glove box's always break on the right hinge, you can just replace the door yourself if you want.
Pull the 10 8mm bolts out and drop out the glove box, flip it over and bang out the pins, seperate the door from the box and replace it. Its really easy to do and it will save you around $200-400 in labor.

It depends on what color and texture the door is made of, give you dealer your VIN number and they will look up the price for you, it also comes with new pins.
I would ball park it at around $100-$200

Don't know what "CPO" is, but dealer replaced mine on factory warranty, no problem and no questions asked. They even had a door in stock telling me that this is a common problem.

CPO means Certified Pre Owned, its not covered under CPO warranty.
