Default going above 1BAR (14.7psi)

why can you not put it above 1BAR with a boost controller? What do i need to do to be able to put it higher than 14.7?

I have hear that a bigger FPR will do the trick and then you just turn it up.

is there any other way besides a chip to get higher boost without hitting that damn limp mode??

help me out cuz i dont have enough $ for a chip.

and my car is(as of now) on 14psi, just with a MBC

thanks.

Turn your ******* mbc down. I dont care what anyone says/has told you. You ARE running lean with that much boost. You dont have enough fuel or correct timingto make any boost over stock useful or effective. All youre doing is blowing a lot of hot air. Do a little research before you make modifications to your engine. Newer engines that have map sensor you can do the diode mod with and will adapt somewhat to the added boost, fuel wise. So its prettysafe on 00+ engines. What you are doing is russian roulette. Google " detonation"

Nope diode mod is not possible. And if you are not running a chip and running that kind of pressure you are going to running lean and your timing is going to be off. Right now my car is overboosting (Wastegate is shot) and I am over boosting to about 15PSI if I step on it and then I start detonating. It really sucks. Because of this I am not having other turbo problems (weird noise's pretty sure the bearings are going out) so I am replacing with a K04 and getting it chipped to handle the new power. Don't run your car at that pressure without a chip. You will have other problems later.

well it has an S4 FPR, and S4 coil packs if that makes any diff.

but im not right at 14psi, i would say im at about 13.5 or less.

but i know what detnation is, and it has yet to "bogg" or go to limp mode, it has been running great ever since i did it (2-3 weeks ago), and no i dont have a BOV.

the only mods are(besides the above) are k&n drop in, and straight thru muffler.

and i my muffler makes a noise to were you think it shoots a fireball every now and then.....my buddy was behind me and said i shot one. but i have had no problems with fuel cut or anything to tht nature...
