Looks nice, just get service records and find out if the t-belt has been done yet.

Ya I asked if they had service records and they said no. The more and more I think about this, it seems kind of weird. You can purchase a warranty with it though.

Mine was only $18700 for a 03 1.8t with only 32900 on it. I was def. scared of getting an audi with higher mileage due to the fact that its not cheap to replace the timing belt and all other necessary requirements to keep the car running great, so keep that in mind before you dish out $15,000 on a car that you'll have to put alot of money into in abouut 10,000 miles if that.

Ask them to knock off the cost of a timing belt replacement, and you're golden.

i got lucky with mine they included the price of the timing belt in my monthly payments so when its time to get it done i pull in and they do it then i leave no cash involved

How is that lucky? You're still paying for it and you're also paying interest on it.

Damn, how much is it to replace these timing belts? Is it that hard to do yourself?

It isn't the timing belt, but everything else.

the complete kit inc belt, water pump, tensioner, idler wheels, coolant etc is about 280. My mechanic charged me 400 for labor inc cam seals
