I'm sorry, but what is s/c ? sorry, i'm new to this, thanks!
S/C = supercharger
in this case for the 2.8 - pretty much the only major performace mod you can do for about 5 Gs.

I'd never trust checking out the car JUST by myself. Take it to another independent mechananic and have him do an inspection, its 100% worth every penny, better yet make friends at a shop good with Audis, because it costs an arm and a leg should anything ever go wrong.

Also, if your deadset on just checking out yourself, search on the forum, many have detailed some common problems with your yr car. Just know that yours is considered a B5.

Thanks Fieldy, I just asked him, and I talked down the price down to 7.8K, good? also, when I go there, I'm gonna go with him to the nearest AUDI dealer, to have the technician check on this car, even tho I'm gonna pay for it, but I think it's worth it. But any idea how much AUDI technician will charge to check out the car for you?
Thanks again, and HAPPY NEW YEAR TO you all!

wow.. thats a lot of money.. 78,000 for a used audi?? I tell you what i will sell you mine for a lot less, how does 50,000 sound?? I would expect anywhere from 100-200 bucks for an overall inspection, start searching around and find an independent european mechanic, they can do all the same stuff.. and wont rape you on the price

i'll back the deal too, he's not trying to rip you off at what he offered, it's legitimate.
