RE: GOOD NEWS!!
Cause, for one, i want more power! ANd 2 i have lots of issues with misfires and EPC lights, just pisses me off. I hate that i reach 2k rpm and im already boosting a crap load of psi. Just makes drivability kinda crappy.

RE: GOOD NEWS!!
I don't think I'll regret it,
I've got no choice anyway, the stock piston went through the head casuing massive damage,(slipped timing belt)
bits of metal went through the K03 turbo so it would've required a re-build anyway, most of the cost of the K04.
Needed new pistons anyway, so may as well build it right up from the start. 9cc cups in 'em to lower the compression so i can turn up the boost.
when i said 'hidden' fmic i was upselling its stealth. I'm having it powdercoated black, along with the pipes, so it won't be obvious to the cops
my cars silver with the unpainted lowers, so i'm gonna paint the S4 front to match, and hide the fmic behind it.
so far $2k (cdn) on the turbo, injectors, and software, pistons and rods $1k, timing belt kit + lightweight crank pully $3bills, and the thou to rebuild the damaged head, including parts+labour. fmic isn't that much, S4 front was 5 bills on ebay recently, (w/shipping to canada).
still need brakes now to slow her down, and wheels that can fit over the brakes.
OHYA, and FYI, my mechanic/rebuilder says he can solve the CEL on the test pipe issue. I said non-foulers, he said just move the 2 o2 sensors back away from the turbo. 1 at least 16" away, the other, wayyy down the pipe on the bottom of the car. (to get comp reading right temps.)
what do you think about that?

and for khj677turbo
K04 on my B6 w/ quattro is less added power than the same on your B5 FWD. theres probly 1500 lbs difference in weight if not more.
that translates to a big difference in driveability with the same power adders. + you've got a transverse motor to so the power is right to the wheels.
Did you do fuel injectors also? i don't see them in ur mod list. The stock ones can only handle 15-20% more air, after that you'd run lean and get misfires.
