hi everyone i have a probelm with the delta headunit and its in safe mode , i have the code and i know how to put it in but the screen wont pop up for me. the mechanic tried to put it in twice because he found a 4 digit code in the trunk, but it wasnt the right one so we called the audi dealership and got it..so do u guys have any idea wat is goin on

 

oh and also what happens if i unhook the battery again....thanks

 

the radio will give you 2 chances to enter the right code, if you enter the wrong code it will not let you try again until....as it says in your radio owners manual you must leave the key in the lock position with the radio on for 1 hour, the radio will then unlock and allow you to try your code again. I wasn't sure what they meant by lock position so what i did was cycle the key on and off leaving the key in the lignition, let the radio on. and in one hour the radio will turn off on it's own confirming the cycle was done properly. and then it will let you enter a code again...but remember you only have 2 chances or you must repeat this cycle again
