Got a 2007 A4 2.0T Tip
... As a loaner
It has about 150 miles on it and it drives sweet! If I wasn't too hooked into the A3's trance when I was shopping and actually test drove an A4 with quattro I probably would've waited a few more months to get the A4.
THe power is decent stock, but I know the engine is much more capable. Transmission is not as bad when compared to DSG. But I'd prefer stick. Handleing, although the A4 has the stock suspension, has a lot of potential. You can literally feel the back trying to slide out to create oversteer, BUT in that moment, the front wheels grap and start pulling you into the corner correcting in and giving you a crazy turn in. The sensation you get is surreal as well. The way the thing turns just doesn't feel natural but it obviously is working somehow.
Driving this thing makes me feel 16 again and not knowing a single thing about cars. Now, I can say this for sure... if the sport package A4 is anything like the A3's suspension the quattro A4 will beat an FWD A3 in the twisties hands down.
You A4 quattro guys driving amazing machines. I hope the dealer doesn't fix my rattles... If so, I'm going to Ortega!

Which dealership gave you the loaner. I got a loaner yesterday also when my car was being serviced by Audi of Mission Viejo. They loaned me a '07 A4 quattro Tip light silver with just under 70 miles on it, I returned it with 150 miles.. it's broken in...lol
yup, black interior with 5 spoke wheels, goodyear LS tires..it drove really smooth and suspension felt slightly tighter than mine. I think the radio in that plays mp3, I didn't get to try it
