Do you have a check engine light?

If not and it has been quite a long time since you have checked for codes, I'd just clear it and see if it comes back

check the small hose on the fire wall on top your ECTS, thats where my hose was broken so it would throw the same code.

Aren't those the recirc and breather hoses? Would that also contribute to the decreasing gas mileage?

The secondary air system won't affect your gas mileage in the least. A vaccum leak or hole in your PCV system will affect your gas mileage though. My thought is to check all the vaccum lines you can find and replace those that look brittle.

Hmmm...do you have a pic or diagram of where these might be located?

Ah im looking on elsa web but all i can find are testing procedures for sensors/relays what not.
The diagrams really don't show me where the vaccum lines really run. You kinda just have to feel around the motor and check them really.

Yea I've been looking all over the web for pics or DIYs. I guess everything near or around the EGR valve. To solve the fuel problem I'm thinking of just replacing both pre-cat sensors, EGR valve and all vacuum lines. It may be overkill but right now I'll do anything to improve this 15mpg dilemna.
