yea i still do 110-120 with the torn boot. I'm replacing it soon though.

I think it tore while I was at my personal little auto-x track. Yes, I have my own auto-x track...when the truck driving course people leave and I set up their cones and barrels the way I want them.

And yes, all the axle does is drive the wheels, tie rods steer your car. I used to snap/twist axles in my old LST civic, seriously once a week, they didn't hold up well with slicks and 273 hp hp. Lifetime warranties are the shi t, they didn't catch on that it was modified for a good 10 replacements.
