just talked with the tech at the audi about my dilema with low oil pressure after car is warm. he said my psi is close to where it should be. at idle warm he said it should be at 14psi & at 3000 rpm`s between 50- 62psi. he was talking with vehicle warm as if you made a trip to town and back( totally warm) interesting huh? some of you guys that posted must just have incredible oil pressure. at least I hope thats the case.

Are you using an oil with 40 viscosity?

 

yes, mobile syn 0-40 why?

 

Thin oil would produce low pressure.
