Finally convinced the wife (and myself).... Its also becoming a drag getting into my car at the end of the dayafter driving these nice A4/S4's at workwith quattro/manual. I REALLY miss driving stick... Hopefuly Ill be on the lookout for a 97-99.5 real soon! I was going to wait longer, but it really doesnt make a difference. Its just a big move because Ive invested a lot maintaining it/modding. I hope I can find someone that will appreciate those things and pay a little over private party value. Id take my boost gauge, dv, mbc, hids,and possibly test pipe. Maybe sell/trade my chipped ecu for a stock one for some extra cash.... Idk. But its sort of exciting. Hopefully I will be sporting the quattro/manual soon. Yes, Im tip/fwd [:@]
thisdoesnt seem too bad, minus the gimp steering wheel... Woooot.

Kbb says mine is worth about $7800. Ive gotta get at least $8200 for how well its been taken care of. My maintnence list is huge and the car is in great shape minus a couple small things. I think I owe about $4k on it so Ill be on top at least. Just thought Id share.

Be ready to take what kbb says or less... that's what the market has been! Good luck! What will you be replacing the A4 with? Quat & a 5 speed?

 

If you get lucky, you can find a nice '00-'02 S4 at the place you work.... That would be sweet if you could pick one of those up.

 

S4's are killer, but not so easy and cheapto work on compared to the A4. There is a reason Auditech is in the market for an A4 even though he has an S4, I think.

 

Sweet, ive been thinking of doing the same...but when looking at used cars you dont always find the options you want. Its not like going to a dealership and getting a new one.
And yeah, all the money your going to loose when you sell it

Id take a cheap to work on A4 over a S4, i say that jsut because i like the interior of the A4 much better..... woodgrain [:'(]

 

Well at least i have the really dark woodgrain, it matches the black leather pretty good. But yeah the A4 is much more user friendly and much easier to swap turbos. [8D]
