CLConversion,
I looked at the link for modifying it and I find it to be easy enough to do but there are too many variables that could caused a screw up.
What is it really that you want to accomplished? Do you need more light or you just want the car to look cool? I do have Xenon on my A4 as you know, but I really don't see any difference in light output if you have a 100W Halogen. However, I admit it kind a look cool when you look at it from the outside. I still think that the Halogen is more cost effective if you need replacement.

o for sure the Halogen are more cost effective but the xexon barly ever burn out but I though that the xexon were a lot brighter than the halogen and yes I do like the look a little more.

I already posted this in the "S Model" forum, but I figured these links might help for the HID modification you guys are talking about.

This is for the S4.

This is for the A4.

There seems to be quite a variety of "How to's" online so I think you pretty much just have to take it with a grain of salt. Follow the method for your particular HID setup cuz I know some ballasts are shaped differently.

Hope this helps!

thanx Jestnomen but now the mechanics here are telling me that the H.I.D'S read off of the computer also and if you try and do this you are going to have problems in the future

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by this. I'm sure hundreds of people on Audiworld.com have installed this HID setup from oemhid.com. I have it installed, and have absolutely no problems.
