Default H&R sport vs race

so i ordered H&R sport springs and blistein shocks from the AWE tent today at Waterfest (and a 30v GIAC chip). Now that I see that the sport only drops 1.25" front 1" rear...I don't think I'm gonna be satisfied with that. So I'm thinking about changing it to race springs instead. Anybody get the H&R sports then wish they got the Race...cause I have a feeling that's what's gonna happen with me.

BaconBait has the sport spring setup on his car. His car has about a 1 1/2" tire to fender gap. From the way he was talking Saturday, I think he wants his car lower.

I currently have the stock Audi sport springs (wheel gap is about 2" - 2 1/4") and I bought Bilsteins with H&R Race Springs on Saturday. The ride is supposed to be a good bit stiffer. The drop will lead to about 1" - 1 1/4" gap between the tire and fender.

At the next get together, we can go for a ride. I should have everything on in time for the Streets of Philadelphia meet in August at Roosevelt Park.

I've got that same setup and it is quite a bit stiffer. Mine dropped 1.25" front, and 1" rear, just like advertised and I love it. I've got 18's as well and it looks great. It's enough of a drop for me, don't want it too low with the shitty MI roads, but some ppl may like it to drop another .25"-.5"??

sweet, any pics? for awhile its gonna be on stock wheels, but i figured sport may be good for less camber and control arm problems. and i wouldn't have to worry so much about rolling the fenders if i get 18's.

I disagree with being happy with sport. the race are way lowered stiffer and better. 2.25in drop on race. I highly reccomend changing to race! i have H&R race and bilstein sports drop looks hot! and will look good with stock or even as big as 18in's
