Hey, I have this problem with my car that every time I start it when its cold its really hard to start and if it does start right off it will sputter and die, but once its even semi warm after the first start it starts and runs perfectly fine, but then if I let if set for a little bit it will be hard to start again. It has done this ever since I wrecked it and I can’t figure out what is wrong it only sat upside down for less than an hour and nothing in the engine bay was touched. I don’t have a Vag but should be getting one soon (Christmas) is there any ideas on what it might be?? Also where is a good place to get a Vag com for the best price????

 

Vagcom has only one source, the manufacturer Ross Tech.

Could be bad coolant sensor. When is the last time you changed spark plugs?

 

Hmm i didnt change the plugs after the wreck i just cleaned them, my car only has 8,000 miles on it so i didnt think they would have gone bad yet, but i guess thats a good place to check. thanks

sounds almost like a TBA problem do a throttle body alignment and see if it goes away

 

How do i do a throttle body alignment does it matter that its the NDBW one???
