My new oil dipstick sleeve should be coming in today and I was wondering how hard is it going to be to put on ... is it as simple as popping the old one off and putting the new one on?

Putting the new one on is simple, getting the old one off is a bit of a problem. It will crumble if you try to grab it with pliers and pull it off. You will likely need a dremel, a cutting wheel and a small hand and cut the lower part of the clip in half lengthwise to get it to let go of the metal tube.
