Has anyone out there had this issue? I have an 02 A4 1.8 with 199K on it. A week ago pulled out the dipstick, and the top end of the sleeve it fits into was loose and cracked. Now after a driving 500 miles I have oil spots on the floor of my garage. (Added 3 ounces after driving 500 miles) Oil seems to be where the sleeve is cracked which is about 2 inches down from the top. See photo taken from above with dipstick removed. Is this easy to fix? I have a new A4 ordered, but new car is 2 months away.
