ok so u probably all read my headlight switch problem....

took the switch apart today and there was a piece melted...

also my cruise doesnt work i assume its the common dirty contacts... and since this is all part of the same switch, i mean its one piece u get both when u buy it. (headlight and cruise stalks)

so here is a pic of what melted.... what i'm wondering is why did this happen? is this a one time problem i dont want to spend the $140 on a new switch and put it in and have the exact same thing happen.... catch my drift?? also can you buy just this lil part?
