Okay, so my last car ('00 subaru) and my other car('94 volvo) both were capable of having the lights always on. so it's in my habit to not worry about them. last night, I was driving around(being the DD) and my friends had weed and beer in my car, but pulling out of QDOBA, we got pulled over because i had my headlights off for the first 15 seconds of the trip. Luckily, everyone stayed cool, and I was able to follow his finger. he left, and my friends were pretty pissed at me for forgetting to turn on my lights. is there any way I can leave my headlights on? whenever I open the door without turning off all the lights my car beeps at me and leaves my orange low lights on... any way around this?

 

hmm...not that i know of. i've never had a car with automatic headlights and personally dont want my car telling me when to use them or not. you could just leave them always on. i dunno bout a '00 but on mine it automatically shuts the lights off even if the little stick is in the on position. it just makes that buzzing noise.

 

I dont think its an option that can be bought up with the VagCom on u model, so u mite need to hard wire somehow?
