headlights
ok so just a quick question with the stock headlights they have those little metal things that the bulb goes into im guessin light shields or somethin but is it possible to take them out without takin the lens off and second if u can get them off will they make the hids i have be bighter
If you're talking about the shutter in front of the HID capsule and behind the lens, that's thereto provide the cut-off on low beam so you don't blind oncoming drivers -- particularly with HIDs. The lens reverses the beam, so the light only falls on the roadway.
With bi-xenon lights, the shutter moves out of the way when you switch on your high beams.
I would not remove that shutter, unless you likepissing other drivers off... getting involved in head-on collisions... and attracting a lot of bad attention from the cops in the meantime.
