hi everyone, i was involved in an accident few days ago, drunk driver came head on in my lane and hit the lady infront of me and she bounced back and took out my headlights. Insurance companies are being asses and won;t buy me a new one. So they are looking for a recycled one. I offered to find a cheaper set so i can replace both, not just one. I found a set thats in the budget for the insurance company. but the twist is the lights have to be Stamped on the lense with DOT. so if anyone has this set i think they are Depo lights. If anyone has a set please let me know if they have the DOT stamp on them. also i was told i would have to cut the fenders which is not a problem. if anyone has done the wiring please let me know how that goes the seller said i have to get another connector from audi. Can i just do the DIY for the valeo 2 to 1 piece headlight. heres a pic let me know as much as you can because i dont want this set of headlights if i have to pay for them thanks.

I upgraded mine to HID so im not sure about the wiring and i didnt have to cut my fender either but i know that it is all a very simple procedure. Check out audidiy.com

 

mine was the old 2 piece design i thoguht you have to cut the fenders and trim them to make one piece fit? anyways do they have the DOT stamp on the lense housing?

 

My Depo headlights do not have a DOT stamp.
