Ok, so a while back my car got hit and run. It was pretty f*****, anyway I just got it back from the bodyshop. They had to replace a headlight which had been damaged. When I drove it home people were looking at me like wtf? As it turns out they did not align the headlights correctly. So, I called them and they said that if they weren't lined up with each other (since I have auto leveling lights)I would get a check engine light, or it would flash at me. (What!) That sounds pretty stupid, dosen't a flashingCEL mean your f*****?

 

flashing CEL usually means misfire, but there might be more things that cause it. gotta get the code read to know for sure

 

I think you have to use a VAG tool to adjust your headlights.
