I could have swore I started a thread about this already but I can't find it so here I go again..

I have a 1999.5 a4.. I bought it with HID kit already installed, The headlights turn on but after a little time of driving the driverside will turn off. If I shut off the lights and turn it back on the lights turn back on. Every now and then the passenger side will turn off too but that rarely happens. Any ideas what this could be? And if so how can I check/fix it?

could be wiring, balast, fuse, or stalk.

 

did you check all connections?

 

don't even know where to begin.. where should i start
