Default Heated Seats

Hey Guys,

This might be more of a detailing question, but I was wondering what you guys used to clean your heated seats. I used a shampooer on my back seat and really liked the results but I figured that I couldn't do that on the front seats, so I was looking for some alternative. Any help would be great.

Thanks,
Keith

I dont think the fact that they are heated has anything to do with what kind of cleaner you should/could use. If its leather/leatherete use a good leather upholstry cleaner, if its cloth, use a good shampoo. OH .. im starting to get it... You must have cloth, and are affraid liquid will get down there and F up your heater coils in the seat??? Just use one of those cans with the brush on the end!!! I wouldnt use an industrial sized shampooer/cleaning device.
oh and this is not a detailing question, its an off topic question!

Yea, I didn't want it getting wet, the cans sound like a good solution, thanks for the help, sorry it's in the wrong section.

You may want to try brake clean. Spray it on a rag and use it to clean the interior. Since it evaporates at room temp it wont damp the heater element, and it cleans surprisingly well. If you do wet the interior i would make sure to let it dry completly before attempting to use the seat heater.
