yeah, unless you want to shell out the bucks. Note to self, don't buy the cheap A4. On a more serious note, it is not worth your trouble to install heated seats. You would be better off buying an auto start to warm up your car in the morning.............

No A4s are cheap. At least not in relation to the avg American's income/wealth.

I believe Jacob's Electronics makes an aftermarket seat heater kit that can be retrofitted to any car. It's a 3 way setup (off, low, high), and includes the switch/relay, wiring, and two heat pads - one for the seat cushion and one for the backrest. They get installed under the upholstery so you would have to have your brand new upholstery removed and refitted over the pads (any interior shop can do that in their sleep). Price isn't bad either - when I looked at them several years ago for my 300Z, they were priced around $80/seat. Google it and see if it comes up - you may find it to be a good alternative.

When I was working as a auto broker we used to add heated seats all the time for about $350 installed! Now I cant tell you who made the kit but I know for a fact there are plenty of after market kits out there! And make sure you kit does not just do the bottom of the seat! Make sure it has seat/back heaters with the kit as some only comewith the seat!

Theres cheap A4's out there that basically come with nothing. The price tag may not be cheap but what your getting will be cheap.
