Help with 12v and 30v heads

Default Help with 12v and 30v heads

I have a 96 2.8 12v a4. i want to know if its possible to swap the heads with a 30v engine, and if not just swap out the whole engine.another thing is will an exhaust for a 98 2.8 30v fit my car?

Swapping the heads, assuming they wouyld even fit, would require cam work, and a **** load of other stuff. If you are not happy with that situation, i would just suggest selling your car, taking ther money you have to upgrade your current one, and putting it together to but a newer, different car. In the long run, i believe you would be much happier.

And if you are to do something like this, make sure you make a good choice in year and model. Some have much more aftermarket choices, generally meaning less money and better quality because there is more money put into what money comes out of.

No to the first question, yes to the latter. Either way you won't be going very fast.
