HELP A4 power problem, including vag-com faults
Hello Audifans,
My car (audi A4 2002) won't start any more. Something is taking the energie out of my battery.
With vag-com i have read the faults. A local dealer (not audi) could not find the problem.

Did you have them clear the codes? Best way to start addressing the problems is to clear them and see if they come back. Sometimes a disconnected battery/performance chip/component replacement can cause some of those codes. If you have had you car worked on sometimes fault codes appear and need to be cleared. Otherwise, thats a lot of codes you got. Multiple codes can be caused by one thing so dont get too worried. I dont know about what could be draining your battery, could be a bad battery? If it was the alternator Im sure there would be a code for that, maybe there is but I cant identify it... Try typing in the fault codes in any search engine and see what results you get. Thats what I did. Have you had AC maintnance done? Replaced your battery in the last 5 years?

Then right after you scan for codes, you'll see a button that says "Clear Faults" [or something like that]. Just click that button and you're good to go. Rescan later to see if they come back.
