I have the underdash out right while trying to do my short shifter. But since i have it down will someone please tell me where to plug in the electrical light wiring for my steering wheel mounted boost gauge. Thanks

 

just tap it into ur headlight switch so they turn on when u turn ur lights on.

 

i just got creative is there anyway that i can tap it into one of the unused buttons above the cd player so when i want it on i can turn it on?

 

sure u can. just get a fuse, swtich and sum wires.

 

Just stay away from any yellow wires, don't want an air bag to blow up in your face LOL.

You would have to pull the center console to gain access to those wires, but those wires have a lot of current going to them, i wouldn't use those wires IMO.

 

If it matters i tapped into the wire for the rear tag light b/c they only come on when the headlights are on. And if for some reason it messes up and looses it connection the worst thing that would happen is you would loose tag lights which is a lot better than loosing head lights.

 

jsut get sum new wires and run them to the battery. it works alot better than tapping into sumthing even though i suggested it earlier.

 

hahaha will the air bag really go off if you cut the yellow wire?
