Just stay away from any yellow wires, don't want an air bag to blow up in your face LOL.

It will if it gets grounded. My team leader has had two of them blow up in his face. The A8 one that blew branded his hand with the four audi rings on his hand for life.

you don't have to go through the firewall to the battery for that. it's not like you're running heavy gage wire for an amp. just go to the fusebox on the left side of the dash. hard wire a to the fuse. pull the fuse out and check with a test light to see which end is live. one end to ground the other to live and the test light comes on. anyway don't hard wire it to the live side, wire it to the side that won't be live if the fuse blows. run that wire to your creative dash switch and from the switch to the boost gage. connect ground.
or connect ground and wire it to the marker lights. who needs an extra switch anyway?

most people hook it to ther 75x terminal under da dash.....my boost guage is lit whenever the car is running....I believe that just about everyones boost guage is wired to their 75x...
you could always put a switch in line?
maybe I missed something?
