i just got my down pipe and i need help installing it....first of all to get to all the bolts do i have to take out the air box??.....and also to get the bottom bolts do i try to get them from the top of the car or the bottom.....thanks.

 

Go from the bottom and from inside the wheel well above the driveshaft. Have lots of PB blast ready. And no you should not have to remove the airbox to remove the DP, however if you removed the CAT you would have to.

 

Well yea you owuld have to remover the air box cuz the pipe goes in place of the cat..... theres a diy here that should help you out, just check the diy section it should be there.... be sure to get the spark plug non foulers in there or else youll get a cel

 

The down pipe is after the cat, or testpipe whatever you have so it is not necessary to remove the airbox if you are replacing just the DP which it sound like he is.

well yea if its the testpipe you have to remove the airbox, but he said DP so its not necessary.
